Like most children, my three big ones love their fidget spinners, which led us to wonder what else we could do with them. First, we have this easy art activity.
Materials
Fidget spinner
Paper or card
Felt tip pens
Scissors
Instructions
Draw around your fidget spinner and cut out a disc to fit on the top, like the picture below.
Spin the spinner and gently press a felt tip pen on the paper so it draws as the spinner spins.
Things to think about
What happens as the spinner slows down?
Does it matter how fast the fidget spinner spins or how hard you press with the pen?
